PLEASE VERIFY YOUR PLAYERS DATE OF BIRTH BEFORE REGISTERING TO ENSURE YOUR'E REGISTERING FOR THE PROPER LEAGUE.  

Scholarships

Parkway Little League firmly believes that each child who wishes to play baseball be entitled to do so regardless of skill, gender, race, religion or financial circumstances. Partial scholarships are available each season. To obtain an In-House Parkway Little League financial scholarship, you must complete this scholarship application and submit all required supporting documentation for each child requesting assistance.

 

Parkway Little League, being a non-profit organization chartered by Little League International, operates as a volunteer organization. Scholarships may be applied for within the league. Partial payment and Evidence of Financial Hardship will be considered for each individual application. It is the intent that all children have the opportunity to play Little League Baseball and financial responsibilities should not be the reason for a child not to participate.

Applicants must be between the ages of 4 - 12 years of age.

Applicant’s ability as an athlete will not factor in whether or not they receive a scholarship.

Recipients of scholarship MUST Complete the MANDITORY 12 hours of Volunteering

Financial need which includes the ability to pay will be the primary factor in determining all scholarship award recipients. 

To be eligible for a full or partial financial scholarship, you must provide Parkway LL with the supporting documentation requested. 

Applicants will NOT be considered unless ALL supporting documentation is submitted with their scholarship application. 

If you wish to keep your financial situation private, you may request that this application be reviewed by the league President only.  

Awards are limited to 5% of registration fees per division.

Scholarship Documentation Requirements:

•       Copy of your Benefits approval letter /or/ Copy of an approved Free/Reduced Price Lunch Program   

•       Copy of unemployment award letter (if applicable)

•       Detailed Financial Hardship Letter from family

 

Additional Requirements:

·         Must be in good standing at Parkway Little League

·         Must be paid in full for previous year (NSF checks must be paid)

·         Willing to discuss additional volunteer opportunities
